These terms are the agreement between you and Sheyenne Hervin EI, the publisher of Shortyear. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.

What Shortyear is

Shortyear is an app to plan goals over twelve weeks, turn them into tasks, time your focus sessions, and follow your progress. It is a planning tool. It does not guarantee any result.

Your account

• You need an account to use Shortyear. The information you give must be accurate.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure, and for what happens in it.
• Your username must not impersonate someone else or be offensive.

Your content

What you write in Shortyear, your goals, notes and reviews, remains yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the app to you. You are responsible for it, and for the photo you choose as your profile photo.

Challenges are not professional advice

Challenges offer general plans, such as running programs or money habits. They are not medical, financial or professional advice. Check with a qualified professional before starting physical training or making important financial decisions, and adjust any plan to your situation.

Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, bought through Google Play. The price and what it includes are shown before you pay. Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled by Google Play: you can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscriptions, and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and the rights you have under the law of your country.

Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people's accounts or data, disrupt the service, copy or resell the app, or use it for anything illegal.

Our work

The app, its design, its challenge plans and its badges belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use them outside the app.

Changes and availability

We improve Shortyear regularly, and features may change. We do our best to keep the app available, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Shortyear and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend an account that seriously breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on your plans in the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, you also keep the protections of its consumer law. Before going to court, write to us so we can try to find a solution together.
